I have always loved design, and I have always loved web design in particular. There is something about being able to build something from scratch, with the endless possibilities in functionality that is both interesting and creative.

Which is why I am very happy and proud to have started on this adventure with my very own web design company. My hope is that in the years to come it will prove to be a source of a great many beautiful and performant websites.

Our Website Philosophy

Our philosophy behind websites is very simple. In fact it is simplicity itself! Websites must convey the message that the brand/company is trying to convey whilst providing the information that a user is searching for in the most frictionless way possible.

Our preference for using vanilla HTML, CSS and limited JS comes from the fact that large website builders (like Wordpress) struggle to reduce complexity and end up with bloated, slow messy code that will eventually break down. Wordpress in particular suffers from it's own success, with the fact that it is so ubiquitous meaning that hackers are constantly targeting wordpress websites.

I believe that with just a little bit more work and care, a website can be more performant, responsive, flexible and search engine friendly.

More Complex Apps

We also produce much more complex business (typically) applications, customised to client's needs. Given my background as a chartered surveyor, I have specialised in property related applications, but any data driven goals can be achieved through a well considered project.

Here SEO is not the desired outcome, but easy to use interfaces with results driven outcomes is the name of the game. We primarily use VueJs to achieve results on the frontend, with the backend driven by the needs of the project.
